PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Teak WPC composite decking boards – Gen 2 B offer a warm, natural timber-inspired appearance combined with the durability and low-maintenance benefits of advanced composite decking. The teak tone provides a classic, premium look that works well across a wide range of UK outdoor spaces, from traditional gardens to modern patios and terraces.
Each board measures 148mm wide and 23mm thick, supplied in a 3-metre length, offering a wider profile that creates a clean, spacious appearance once installed. This wider board format helps reduce visible joins and delivers a more streamlined finish across the deck. The hollow-core construction ensures reliable strength while keeping the board manageable during installation.
Manufactured using Gen 2 B wood-plastic composite (WPC) technology, this range features a refined surface finish and improved colour consistency compared with standard Gen 2 decking. The boards are produced from a blend of recycled wood fibres and polymers, providing improved resistance to moisture, surface wear and colour fading, while maintaining a natural wood-grain appearance.
Unlike traditional timber decking, WPC composite boards do not rot, warp or splinter and do not require painting, staining or sealing. They are engineered to perform reliably in the UK climate, offering long-term durability with minimal maintenance.
INSTALLATION & USE
These composite decking boards are suitable for residential and light commercial applications, including garden decking, patios, terraces, balconies and outdoor seating areas. Installation should be carried out on a suitable sub-frame using appropriate composite decking fixings and recommended expansion gaps. Professional installation is recommended to achieve the best long-term result.
