In these terms, “Vigo Home”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Vigo Home Ltd. “You” and “your” refer to the customer using our website or placing an order with us.
2. These Terms
These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through vigohome.co.uk.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Privacy Policy and any other policy or product-specific terms referred to on our website.
If there is any conflict between these Terms of Service and a more specific policy, the more specific policy will apply to that subject matter.
For example:
- Delivery matters are covered by our Shipping Policy
- Returns, cancellations and refunds are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy
- Personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy
- Product warranty matters may be covered by separate warranty terms where applicable
3. Customers
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order with us.
If you place an order on behalf of a business, company, partnership, organisation or trade customer, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business or organisation to these terms.
Different legal rights may apply depending on whether you are buying as a consumer or as a business customer.
4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, prices and availability are accurate and up to date.
However, product images are for illustration purposes only. Colours, textures, grain patterns and finishes may vary due to screen settings, lighting, photography, manufacturing batches and natural weathering.
Dimensions, weights and coverage information are approximate unless stated otherwise. Slight variations may occur due to manufacturing tolerances.
You are responsible for checking that the product is suitable for your intended use before ordering.
5. Colour, Batch and Finish Variation
Composite products may vary slightly in colour, tone, texture or finish between different production batches.
For the most consistent finish, we recommend ordering enough product from the same batch to complete your project, including reasonable allowance for wastage, cuts and future repairs.
Colour changes, weathering, slight fading and minor surface variation may occur over time and are not normally considered faults.
6. Pricing and VAT
All prices shown on our website are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to change prices, delivery charges, promotions and product availability at any time. Changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted by us.
If we discover an obvious pricing error, stock error, product listing error or technical error, we may contact you to correct the issue. If we cannot accept your order due to an error, we will cancel the order and refund any payment you have made.
7. Payment
Payment methods are shown at checkout.
Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
We may refuse or cancel an order if payment is not authorised, if we suspect fraud, if the order appears high risk, or if we are unable to verify required information.
Where applicable, we will issue a VAT receipt or invoice by email.
8. Ordering and Contract Formation
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the goods in your basket.
After placing an order, you may receive an order acknowledgement email. This confirms that we have received your order, but it does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract is formed when we accept your order by confirming that it is being processed, prepared, dispatched, or made available for collection.
If we cannot accept your order, we will let you know and refund any payment you have made.
9. Availability and Stock
Most products shown on our website are held in stock at our warehouse, but stock availability can change quickly, especially during busy seasons.
If an item is unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you to discuss the available options. These may include waiting for restock, choosing an alternative product, amending the order or cancelling the order for a refund.
10. Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection terms are set out in our separate Shipping Policy.
Please read the Shipping Policy before placing an order, especially for information about delivery areas, delivery charges, access requirements, kerbside delivery, collection, delivery timeframes, missed deliveries and other delivery-related matters.
By placing an order, you agree to the delivery and collection terms set out in our Shipping Policy.
11. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
Returns, cancellations and refunds are covered by our separate Returns & Refunds Policy.
Please read the Returns & Refunds Policy before placing an order, especially if you are buying large, heavy, palletised, made-to-order, cut-to-size, clearance or installation-related products.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
12. Risk and Ownership
For delivered orders, risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to your delivery address, unless otherwise stated in our Shipping Policy or required by law.
For click & collect orders, risk passes to you when the goods are collected from our warehouse.
Ownership of the goods passes to you only when we have received full cleared payment for the order.
If you arrange your own courier, transport provider or third party to collect goods from our warehouse, risk may pass to you when the goods are handed over to that courier, transport provider or third party.
13. Damaged, Faulty, Missing or Incorrect Goods
If goods are damaged, faulty, missing, incorrect, not as described or otherwise not in line with your statutory rights, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide your order number, a clear description of the issue and photos where relevant.
We will review the issue and provide an appropriate solution where required.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
14. Installation and Product Use
You are responsible for ensuring that products are installed correctly and safely.
Products must be installed in line with our installation guidance, product guidance, good trade practice and any applicable building regulations or site requirements.
Subframes, fixings, drainage, spacing, ventilation, ground preparation and site conditions must be suitable for the products being installed.
We are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable subframes, poor drainage, incorrect fixings, misuse, site movement, structural issues, lack of maintenance, or failure to follow installation guidance.
15. Product Suitability
You are responsible for checking that the products are suitable for your intended project, site conditions and installation method.
If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering.
Any advice we provide is general guidance only unless we expressly agree in writing to provide a specific design, survey or installation service.
16. Warranty
Some products may be covered by a product warranty, depending on the product type, intended use and applicable warranty terms.
Warranty coverage may vary between domestic and commercial use.
Warranty terms may be provided separately and may vary by product.
Unless stated otherwise, product warranties do not normally cover:
- Incorrect installation
- Misuse or neglect
- Poor maintenance
- Unsuitable subframes or support structures
- Poor drainage or water pooling
- Use of unsuitable fixings or accessories
- Normal weathering, colour change or fading
- Batch variation
- Minor surface marks or cosmetic variation
- Damage caused by impact, chemicals, fire, excessive heat or abnormal use
- Labour, removal, refitting, installation or consequential costs unless required by law
Your statutory rights are not affected.
17. Business Customers
If you buy from us as a business customer, trade customer, installer, contractor, company, partnership or organisation, consumer cancellation rights do not apply.
Business-to-business returns are accepted at our discretion unless goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
For business customers, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, project delay, labour costs, installation costs, removal costs, replacement contractor costs or other indirect or consequential losses.
18. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions, offers and discount codes are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at any time.
Discount codes must be used correctly at checkout and cannot normally be applied retrospectively after an order has been placed.
Promotions cannot normally be combined unless we expressly state otherwise.
19. Website Use
You must not misuse our website.
You must not attempt to interfere with the website, gain unauthorised access, introduce viruses or harmful material, scrape content without permission, or use the website in any unlawful way.
We may suspend, restrict or block access to our website if we reasonably believe it is being misused.

All website content, including text, product images, graphics, logos, layout, branding and design, belongs to Vigo Home Ltd or is used with permission.
You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
21. Reviews and User Content
If you submit a review, photo, comment or other content to us, you confirm that the content is accurate, lawful and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and share that content for marketing, website, social media and promotional purposes.
We reserve the right to remove or refuse to publish content that we consider unlawful, misleading, offensive, defamatory, spam, abusive or inappropriate.
22. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Breach of your statutory rights
- Any matter that cannot legally be limited or excluded
For consumer customers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable.
For business customers, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order, unless the law does not allow such limitation.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including labour costs, installation costs, removal costs, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, project delay or loss arising from incorrect installation.
23. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.
These may include severe weather, road closures, traffic accidents, vehicle breakdowns, supplier delays, warehouse disruption, labour shortages, fire, flood, power failure, government restrictions, strikes, public holidays, or incorrect information provided by the customer.
If an event outside our control affects your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce the impact.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
The version that applies to your order will be the version in force at the time your order is placed.
