PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Ancient Wood WPC composite decking boards combine a natural timber look with the durability and low-maintenance performance of modern composite technology. Designed for UK gardens and outdoor spaces, this Gen 2 decking is a long-lasting alternative to traditional timber without the ongoing upkeep.
Each board measures 138mm wide and 23mm thick, supplied in a 3-metre length, making it a practical size for garden decking, patios, terraces and outdoor seating areas. The hollow-core structure keeps the board strong yet lighter to handle during installation, while maintaining reliable structural stability once installed.
These boards feature a double-sided design, giving you two usable surface finishes in one product. This provides flexibility during fitting and helps deliver a consistent, premium look across the finished deck. The Ancient Wood colour presents a warm, natural tone with subtle grain variation, making it suitable for both modern and traditional UK homes.
Manufactured using Gen 2 wood-plastic composite (WPC) technology, the boards are produced from a blend of recycled wood fibres and polymers. This construction improves resistance to moisture, surface wear and fading, while offering a more realistic wood-grain texture compared with earlier composite decking generations.
Unlike timber, WPC composite boards do not rot, warp or splinter and do not require painting, staining or sealing. They are built to perform reliably in the UK climate, offering long-term durability with minimal maintenance.
INSTALLATION & USE
These decking boards are suitable for residential and light commercial applications, including garden decking, patios, outdoor seating areas, terraces and balconies. Installation should be carried out on a suitable sub-frame using appropriate composite decking fixings and recommended expansion gaps. Either side of the board can be used as the finished surface, depending on the desired appearance. Professional installation is recommended to achieve the best long-term result.

For orders below £1,500, pallet delivery charges are calculated based on the distance from our Desborough warehouse (NN14 2SR), as follows:

All deliveries are dispatched from our Northamptonshire warehouse and scheduled on a pallet delivery service.
